HEATH SHERMAN, Partner, is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D.). At DePaul, Heath was a member of the Moot Court Society where he participated in national competitions involving product liability and medical ethics. Heath specializes in civil litigation and is directly responsible for complex cases involving product liability, construction, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation. Heath has successfully handled cases on behalf of his clients in state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions including Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio, Kentucky, Nevada, California, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Texas and Idaho. Additionally, Heath has tried numerous cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and has argued cases on appeal at the Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court levels. Heath is a member of the Illinois Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Bar and the Federal Trial Bar. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
